Legrand has enhanced the capability of its BTicino-Terraneo door entry and access control systems by launching a range of proximity sensors, which it hopes will make a major impact in the residential market.
The key fob operated system, which allows up to 500 users access to one or two entrances, is simple to both install and use, and does not require complex computer programming to set-up. In addition, it can be easily expanded to accommodate additional key fob holders.
As well as being available as a stand-alone product, the proximity sensors can be fully integrated into all other BTicino-Terraneo modular entrance panels to provide additional functions. This innovation means its appeal to specifiers, particularly in the residential sector where access control is fast making significant inroads, is greatly enhanced due to the stylish design of Legrand’s BTicino-Terraneo products.
“As a stand alone product our BTicino-Terraneoproximity sensors provide a secure and cost-effective solution,” according to Legrand Ireland Limited. “Add to this the flexibility of combing it with any of our existing audio and video access control solutions and the result is a fully integrated system that has the capability to suit any installation scenario, whether commercial or residential.”
