Improving the standards of electrical installation work in Ireland, RECI was formed in 1992 upon request of the Department of Energy. 

RECI monitors the work of its registered contractors and provides inspection services for non-registered contractors.  They also offer extensive training , technical information and assistance to registered contractors.
