Self-employed electrical contractor Patrick Kelly has been working in the industry for over 12 years. Living and working in Bantry, Cork, Patrick decided to check out Voltimum when it was recommended by RECI. He’s been regularly visiting the site ever since.
“I go onto Voltimum because I find it interesting,” said Patrick. “I don’t have a lot of time to do refresher courses, so this keeps me up with the times.”
Patrick’s fiancée, who takes care of the business side of things, is also a fan of Voltimum. She even prints up interesting articles for her soon-to-be hubbie when he doesn’t have a chance to find them on his own.
From electrician to politician, Patrick Kelly is on the Fianna Fail Cork Council. He also served a term in 2004 as Mayor of Bantry, Co. Cork!
Patrick is also part of the City of La Crosse International Committee, which is a committee that promotes international awareness and citizen diplomacy through forming Sister City or Twin City relationships. La Crosse, Wisconsin has Sister Cities that include Epinal, France; Dubna, Russia; Friedberg, Germany; Luoyang, China; Forde, Norway and Bantry, Ireland. These relationships allow for cooperation and support covering issues such as education, health care, sports, the arts, public policy, and more.
