T60: Assessment-only
This is a paper-based, assessment-only option, available ONLY to ECS gold or platinum card holders (issued by the JIB), who wish to carry out their own self-study and review of the changes to the Wiring Regulations. Delegates must be holders of a current, valid gold or platinum ECS card. Cost: £50 + VAT, awarded by EAL (EMTA Awards Ltd).
T62: Update course (1 day)
Designed for experienced staff of electrical contracting companies who have a good knowledge of the 16th Edition of the Wiring Regulations, i.e. those who hold one of the following qualifications, deemed to address the requirements of BS7671*:
- City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: June 2001 (2381) -or
- City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures) (2330-07) -or-
- City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance (2330-08) - or-
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation Part Two (2360) (from January 1st 2004 onwards only)
*as specified and agreed by the Awarding Bodies together with SummitSkills
T64: Full Course (3 day)
This course covers the full 17th Edition Regulations and is open to all. It is suitable for those who are qualified but are looking for an in-depth overview of the new Wiring Regulations, or anyone who has not passed a formal electrical qualification on BS7671 since 2001 (including holders of the C&G 2380 qualification who have not updated to the 16th Edition).
A discount on the standard non-member delegate rate for 17th Edition full or update training is available to those registered to any of the 5 UK Part P Competent Person schemes. See course flyer or website for details.
