The integration of smart, energy efficient technologies in the home is now an affordable reality, already this integration is delivering real added value to developers and homeowners alike.
Schneider Electric is a market leader in this area with leading ranges such as Clipsal C-Bus and LexCom Home. A range of systems are available to meet the needs and budgets of different house types, from entertainment networking packages to fully automated homes.

Joe Crawford has over 20 years experience in the Electrical Industry. He began his career as an electrician working in the Industrial sector before moving to Anord Controls where he spent 8 years working as a site-commissioning engineer on large electrical switchgear projects such as the channel tunnel and the Intel site in Leixlip. Later he joined the Swedish company Thorsman in Drogheda as a Technical Sales Engineer working within the Healthcare sector. He was a project member involved in the design of a new medical cable management system, which is now a market leader on the Irish market. Today he is a Product Manager within Schneider Electric with responsibility for market leading brands such as Thorsman, Mita and Clipsal, which encompasses the home automation offer.
