Printing House Square is a two time NHBC Top 100 Award winning development that was designed with the aim of raising the bar in terms of residential accommodation

“Just one look at the apartments and you can see what exactly the developer meant when they talked about raising the bar,” said Legrand area sales manager, Colin Newman. “From the hi-tech entertainment networks right through to the stunning stainless steel kitchen appliances the specification is incredibly high and so it’s a real thrill to know our Synergy and Bticino products were selected for installation.”

Both Synergy and Bticino products were specified for the job by Malcolm Hitchman, the owner of Hampshire-based Malcolm Hitchman Electrical Limited, who is a long time fan of the Synergy range of wiring devices.

“I was impressed by the clean cut, unobtrusive style and excellent safety standards of Synergy products when I first saw them at the product launch back in 2005,” said Malcolm. “Since then, I’ve continued to be impressed on all of these fronts, plus by the comparatively low failure rate of Synergy products in relation to other available wiring devices.”

Malcolm, whose company was recently appointed a Bticino approved installer, was also quick to praise the door entry products of the Legrand Group company.

“For many years I worked with a different manufacturer’s products, but always kept my eye on market developments and new players on the scene. Bticino has made quite an impression since its evolution from Terraneo in the UK and when it started introducing 2-wire technology that proved to be quicker and easier to install than anything else available, I was keen to find out exactly what they could offer my company.”

“Again, I’ve been impressed by the sheer reliability of the products I’ve used and am delighted to have my company name associated with such a good brand.”

As a result of these excellent impressions, both Synergy and Bticino solutions have been used extensively throughout Printing House Square. External, vandal resistant, Bticino stainless steel scrolling entry panels and internal, Sprint handsets provide high quality video door entry for all 130 dwellings in the development. Meanwhile, Synergy Modern products have been installed throughout all internal areas, from grid systems in the kitchens, to dimmers in all living and bedrooms.
