Legrand has launched a new range of terminal blocks and accessories designed to deliver the highest quality of installation.
The new Viking 3 range offers fast and secure connection, clear and easy marking, and a choice of spring or screw connection according to the application type.

The spring connection terminals (up to 6 mm width) feature an innovative direct insertion connector that allows the cable to be connected without a screwdriver or other fixing device. In addition, the size of the terminals has been optmised in order to save on installation space, while the introduction of two marking zones ensures both freedom and good visibility of marking. There are also integrated end caps for widths of 6 to 12 mm.
Meanwhile, the screw connection terminals make installation, connection and marking easier than ever before due to the standardisation of height for blocks from 16 to 70 mm, the introduction of single end caps for widths of 5 to 10 mm, and the capability for direct screwless fixing onto the rail for protection conductor modules up to 10 mm in width.
The new range also enables simpler stockholding due to the introduction of common accessories across both terminal types. These include shunts, end stops and shielding.
Offering complete compatibility with the Viking 3 range is Legrand’s CAB 3 marking system. It offers a high quality solution to terminal marking requirements, with its universal fittings enabling clear, rapid marking and simple modification. Legrand also offers a range of crimping tools and ferrules that support connection needs.
