Emergency lighting installation certificates, LED facts and case studies and industry courses and seminars - November VoltiNEWS Ireland

The ECSSA reports that Fire Officers acting for local authorities have been expressing concern in relation to the validity of Emergency Lighting Certs submitted for new buildings and for premises (such as pubs and clubs) which need to renew their licenses each year. It is felt that many of these Certificates are being signed without adequate testing of the installation or by people who are not familiar with the requirements of IS3217.

Read more about what the ECSSA has to say as well as what the NSAI are doing in response to the problem.

The AECI are holding a series of one-day seminars for electrical contractors and wholesalers on emergency lighting systems, fire detection and alarm systems and safety, health and welfare at work and construction regulations. Find out more including dates, location and cost.

The time consuming and tedious drawing of lines on the wall is a thing of the past with the Leica LINO™ L2. Watch a short product demonstration video to see how this self-leveling precision line-laser projects exactly, quickly and easily – allowing tradesmen to concentrate on the job at hand.
