Based on triphosphor technology, OSRAM’s LUMILUX® range features a number of highly efficient fluorescent tubes that achieve legislative compliance and provide excellent benefits for the end user. LUMILUX® T5 and T8 tubes benefit from high luminous flux, high luminous efficacy and excellent colour rendering. LUMILUX® XT and XXT T8 fluorescent tubes are highly efficient solutions for industrial and commercial lighting systems where re-lamping involves high costs. Equipped with all the benefits of the LUMILUX® range, the XT and XXT are extremely reliable and feature a long service life which considerably extends the maintenance cycle resulting in reduced costs.
Innovative QUICKTRONIC® electronic control gear (ECG) from OSRAM has been designed specifically to operate LUMILUX® technology to ensure optimum operation of our fluorescent lamps with even greater economy, comfort, reliability and safety. It optimises all the parameters for igniting and operating the lamps and helps prolong their life.
For existing internal lighting systems fitted with conventional control gears (CCG), OSRAM offers an energy-efficient alternative to inefficient fluorescent tubes. OSRAM’s LUMILUX® T8 Energy Saver (ES) enables energy costs to be reduced by up to 10% compared with the corresponding conventional lamps. This product also has an average life of 15,000 hours and stays brighter for longer leading to longer life cycles and therefore lower maintenance costs.
Significantly, OSRAM’s LUMILUX® tubes now contain just 3 mg of mercury – far below the RoHS limit of 5 mg. In systems with electronic control gear (ECG) from OSRAM, these lamps make a significant contribution to environment protection – not only because of the very small quantities of hazardous substances but also because they consume fewer natural resources thanks to their high efficiency and long lifetime. They are also ideal for combining with daylight dimmer systems and motion sensors leading to even greater energy savings.
