For installers looking for a fashionable yet stylish electric heating solution for homeowners and businesses, Schneider Electric, the global energy management specialist, has launched a slim line panel heater range.

Designed to complement the modern interior, the panels provide an energy efficient and contemporary solution for a variety of environments. With no restrictions on pipework or flue systems, the electric panel heaters also provide the end user with the freedom to locate the heater where they desire, rather than where the pipework dictates.

An easy sell for the installer, the heaters feature automatic energy saving settings, meaning the end user can benefit from average energy cost reductions of up to 25 per cent when compared to a panel heater with a mechanical thermostat. With illuminated temperature settings on the front of the panel, and constant monitoring via the electronic thermostat, an even and comfortable temperature can be maintained at all times.

Joe Crawford, customer marketing at Schneider Electric, said: “When it comes to electric heating, many of us will automatically think of the large cumbersome storage heaters and the in-flexible heat generated from them. Whilst this remains a reality for many homes, more and more homeowners are seeking more convenient alternatives.”

Joe Crawford continued: “The new heating range is designed to help installers meet this growing demand, so they can provide their customers with an energy efficient heating solution that looks as good as it performs.”

For added comfort and convenience the thermostat can be locked to avoid tampering; making the panel heater ideal for installation in public spaces. The range offers a slim profile for the design conscious, which is available in three colours; white, silver and black.

Thanks to the versatility in design and installation, the heater can be installed in a matter of minutes and for new build developments, at the second stage of installation. Equally when compared to a traditional electric heater solution, the panel heaters have a relatively low maintenance cost and conversely an average 50% longer lifespan.
