In the last 8 years Julian has worked for Atkins Highways and Transportation as leader of the Exterior Lighting Team after starting his career with an electricians apprenticeship. At the age of 35 he broadened his skills with a degree in product design. In his spare time Julian enjoys sailing. He only started sailing a year ago but has already developed his sailing skills and confidence enough for him and a friend to take his brand new 25ft Yacht on a non-stop 3 week trip covering over 500 miles heading out into the Atlantic early next year. Julian is an avid reader of Voltimums Q&A of the Day, as well as using the Voltimum website to source equipment and keep up-do-date with specifications.
