Winner of Day 18 in Voltimum's Advent Game 2011 - Alan Gordon Wins a Kubik Roca

Alan works for The Northern Lighthouse Board - the General Lighthouse Authority for Scotland and the Isle of Man. He has worked for the company for over 31 years and is responsible for helping in the maintenance of 205 lighthouses. Alan started his career as an electrician, following completion of a 5 year apprentiship. He then went on to become a panel builder and then joined the NLB to work his way up from a Technician to his current role as an Electrical Incorporated Engineer.

In his spare time, Alan does lots of DIY work for himself and friends and family. Alan is a keen traveller enjoying holidays abroad. He recently visited Venezuela where he went canoeing and fishing for Piranhas, in the Orinoco river!

Alan is a regular user of Voltimum and finds the electronic newsletters a great way to keep up to date with changes in legislation and standards and keeping informed about developments in products and technolgies.
