ABB to demonstrate motors with energy efficient variable speed drives at 'The Energy Show'

The Energy Show – presented by Sustainable Energy Ireland, is taking place on Wednesday 29th 08.30-18.00 and Thursday 30th 09.00-17.00, April 2009 in the RDS Main hall, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.The Energy show is well established as Ireland’s biggest annual showcase for the sustainable energy sector.

ABB are going to be among the exhibitors at this year’s show and can be located in Hall 1, Stand C9.

ABB will be demonstrating motors with energy efficient variable speed drives at the show. These Variable speed drives, drive an AC induction motor in a manner that rotates the motor’s drive shaft at a variable speed dictated by an external signal.

ABB’s motors allow for the accelerated capital allowance (ACA) scheme, which is a tax incentive for companies paying corporation tax and aims to encourage investment in energy efficient equipment. You will be amazed with how much money can be saved!!!! ABB will also be using its unique balloon machine to demonstrate the savings.

ABB will also be demonstrating Intelligent Installation Systems for buildings (KNX) amongst other automation products.

There will be experienced ABB sales staff and technicians on site in the RDS for any queries.
