The Republic of Ireland Finance Act, 2008, introduced an Accelerated Capital Allowance (ACA) for the purchase of energy efficient equipment.
This tax incentive enables some businesses to write off 100% of the purchase value of specified energy efficient items in the year of purchase.
The specified list of approved equipment has now been announced and Schneider Electric’s Building Energy Management Systems, Variable Speed Drives and Lighting Control systems give right to the Accelerated Capital Allowance.
