Prysmian became the new name for Pirelli cables in July 2005. Since then a large global rebranding project has been underway.
Prysmian became the new name for Pirelli cables in July 2005. Since then a large global rebranding project has been underway. For the last 12 months we have branded all of our packaging with both the Pirelli and Prysmian logos to ease customer identification of products. All cables continued to be marked Pirelli.
To complete the rebranding project for products, from the 1st January 2007 we have introduced packaging marked exclusively Prysmian. Essentially the packaging is the same as the existing designs but with the Prysmian logo replacing the Pirelli one.
In addition all cables are now being marked “Prysmian”. These changes may take some time to filter into the market. Please see attachment for further details.
