ABB have created a link on their Irish internet site www.abb.ie called Low Voltage Reference Guide. Here our customers can download various Low Voltage literatures in soft copy. They have added to this library DOC&CAT - The first collection for choosing, accessorising, designing, dimensioning and budgeting your electrical projects.
The DOC & CAT collection contains:
2.1 (release 2.0.0.0039)
DOC 2.0 is the newest software of ABB dedicated to: designing and calculation of single-line diagrams of electrical systems in low and medium voltage, selecting of switching devices, and for verification and coordination of protective devices.
The DOC calculation algorithms have been enhanced to easily solve complex networks and generated detail reports, without giving up the traditional single-line diagram generated by the built-in CAD system.
Thanks to the capabilities provided by the CAD-integrated design, the new switchboard configurator allows to develop projects of ABB switchboards and produce the technical quotation with CAT.
The new switchboard configurator module is only available for certain countries.
The configurator module can be activated on demand according to the Local Sales Organization.
Highlight on Switchboard configuration
• Faster drawing using automatic configuration “Wizard”
• Customized switchboard configuration using the drawing toolbar available
• Faster drawing of vertical and horizontal busbar system
• Exportation of the front panel drawing in DWG and DXF format.
