RECI

Accredited Courses for Qualified Certifier

Published: 10 June 2013 Category: News

The Commission for Energy Regulation's direction that all electrical Verification and Certification courses which grant a Qualified Certifier (QC) number be accredited by Dublin Institute of Technology or City and Guilds comes into force on the 1st July 2013.

RECI is pursuing accreditation of its Verification and Certification course through Dublin Institute of Technology but this will not be in place until later in the year.

Contractors whose QC number expires before the 30th June 2013 can still attend the unaccredited RECI Verification and Certification course which will provide you with a QC number valid for three years. We have put on additional courses to meet demand. Please check details on our website or contact the office on (01)492 9966.

You should check the date of expiry of your QC number to ensure it is in date, as certs with invalid QC numbers cannot be processed. If you have any doubts or queries please contact the office on (01) 492 9966. City and Guilds have provided details of the training providers who are accredited to run courses recognised by the Commission for Energy Regulation. These are as per list below:
