At this week’s Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) –Energy Show – Philips Ireland were delighted to receive another prestigious award for the MasterLED range – this time for DimTone.
Philips Ireland won Lighting Product of the show for our DimTone MasterLED lamps – the LED lamps that when dimmed follow the Tungsten model of producing a warmer colour temperature of light as they dim. This is done by the introduction of an Amber LED that increases in intensity as the other LED’s dim – thus resembling the Tungsten characteristics. The judges were very impressed with the DimTone performance when they visited the joint stand of Philips Lighting and our Strategic Partner Wholesaler for the MasterLED Range, EuroSales. Here they had a full demonstration of the DimTone Range and its features by our MasterLED Champion – Catherine Lambe. It was thought that this was an excellent idea, and a real example of Philips “Sense and Simplicity”.
This is the second year in a row Philips Ireland have won this category following on from their win in 2011 with the MasterLED Prince 12W lamp.
