RECI provides a comprehensive schedule of training courses for its members nationwide.

This article provides background information dates on all upcoming RECI courses. To book a course click here and either print the course booking form and return it to us fully filled or use the online booking form.

If you book three places on any course, one place is free i.e. you get three places for the price of two. Please note this offer is per session only at a specific date and venue.

Verification & Certification

It is now a requirement of the CER Criteria that Qualified Certifiers are assessed every three years on their knowledge of Verification & Certification of electrical installations. Attendance on this course meets this requirement. This course covers the full visual inspection of the complete installation and all the tests required by the Wiring Rules both before the supply is connected and with the supply connected. Practical training on a test panel is part of the course.

Periodic Inspections

This course describes how to carry out a Periodic Inspection, what problems to look out for, the best approach to carrying out the tests required by the Wiring Rules and how to complete the Periodic Inspection Report Form. Guidance is given on how to assess the condition of existing electrical installations and how to make recommendations to the owner based on the ETCI National Rules for Existing Installations ET107. A free copy of ET107 is provided on the course.

4th Edition ET101:2008

The course covers all major technical changes to the previous 3rd Edition of the Wiring Rules. It is laid out for presentation in an easy to understand manner.
