Leading structured cabling systems and components distributor Cablelines Pronet has installed cable management products from MITA throughout their Nottingham distribution centre.
Mains-power distribution systems in the new building, together with networked data-communications wiring and cabling, are contained in Mita’s Cableline Ultra 60 perimeter trunking. Approx 180 metres have been installed in offices with Cat 6 compatible floorboxes providing additional outlets to floor-standing and desk-mounted equipment.
In addition to the general offices, Ultra 60 is also showcased in a dedicated demonstration area. Installed to provide practical containment incorporating both power and data outlets, it is used as a classic example of a high-performance, segregated cable management system, interfacing with typical high-end network products supplied by Cablelines Pronet.
Ultra 60 standard fittings provide for a 50mm minimum bend radius. The 2 compartment trunking can hold up to 48 Cat 6 cables within a dedicated 75x62mm compartment. This provides secure segregated containment and protection for high-bandwidth, high speed data-communications cabling, including the latest Cat 6 and Cat 7 systems.
