Dimplex is ready to showcase a series of its innovative and installer friendly electric heating solutions at the Electric Event, on stands 30 and 31.

Dimplex Powers Up for This Years Electric Event

Visitors are invited to see how Dimplex’s latest products, such as the Quantum heater, Quantum water cylinder and brand new Q-Rad electric radiator, will unlock more prospects for electrical contracting businesses.

Chris Stammers, marketing director for Dimplex commented, “Innovations in product design are becoming key to maximising the performance of electric heating systems - and for installers, they can add significant value compared to conventional products.”

The revolutionary Dimplex Quantum space heater has already taken the electric heating market by storm, thanks to unique advances in insulation, technology and controllability. The heater maximises the amount of stored heat from off-peak energy tariffs, offering the potential for 90 per cent of the heating requirement to be met by the off-peak rates. Crucially for installers, Quantum is easy to fit and hassle free, providing a future-proof solution designed for refurbishment and retrofit projects, or in new build properties suited for electric heating.

Earlier this year Dimplex launched the ground-breaking Quantum water cylinder, which enables users to plan water usage thanks to smart technology that shows previous consumption history, and at a glance how much hot water is available for use. The state-of-the-art control system, which is designed to easily link with the Quantum heater through a central hub, ensures the correct amount of water is stored to accommodate the needs of a household and offers potential for a complete Quantum heating solution.

The brand new Quantum Electric Radiator, or Q-Rad, is also set to be showcased at this year’s event. Packed with features to drive efficiency and reduce running costs, Q-Rad has the unique ability to measure the heat-up and cool-down times of the room and how this varies with external temperatures. This allows the heater to work out what time it needs to start heating in order to reach the user defined target temperature, at a specified time.

Chris Stammers added, “While electric heating technology continues to move forward and meet the demands of both home owners and utility companies, Dimplex will continue to help installers take advantage both today and in the future, offering new products that combine smart technology with easy to install components.”

With April seeing the launch of the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive, the interest in heat pumps is set to grow rapidly and the Dimplex A-Class air source heat pump is bursting with features that will optimise system efficiency and reduce running costs.

The new A-Class air source heat pump range has been developed specifically for the UK market and is manufactured in the UK too. Designed from the ground up, the result is a heat pump range that offers unrivalled levels of efficiency and performance, even at very low air temperatures. Able to deliver high temperature output up to 65°C, and a simple user friendly control system that operates the complete heating system, A-Class is ideal for both new build and existing homes.

This year’s show will debut the LST panel heater, which complies with NHS estates health guidance on safe surface temperatures, without compromising on performance. Quick and easy to connect to existing heating systems, the LST is ideal for installations in family homes.

The market leader in electric heating will also be showing off its range of three compact towel rails; offering affordability, sleek design and space saving towel warming in even the smallest of bathroom spaces.
