The ongoing debate about energy prices and a sustained period of marketing investment has helped to ensure Dimplex’s innovative Quantum heating system continues to be in high demand from installers and home owners alike.
Quantum was the subject of an extensive radio advertising campaign on Talksport throughout October, November and December, together with more than 100 in-store wholesaler displays and additional POS support which have been distributed across the UK.
The radio campaign for Quantum, which gives users the chance to store off-peak energy and use it when they need it, was even extended after it resulted in significant increases in the number of people visiting the Dimplex website searching for information on where to buy the product.
The heater was also named Best Energy & Carbon Saving Product in the Electrical Industry Awards in November.
Karen Trewick, director of communications at Dimplex, said: “Quantum has proved a revolution in the electric heating market and it’s no surprise to us that it has proved so popular. It continues to grab the attention of homeowners, social housing customers and installers because it combines ease of use with lower energy bills – including running costs savings of up to 27% compared to the next best heater.
“We have continued to invest in marketing support for wholesalers and the radio campaign has helped to raise interest even further. We saw a significant increase in the number of people looking at where to buy Quantum on our website and a dramatic increase in Google searches as more people in the industry become aware of its market-leading capabilities.”
