Dimplex will be showcasing its innovative range of electric heating solutions to the industry at the autumn Elex events, which take place in Coventry this month and at Sandown Park on 6th and 7th November.
Visitors to the electrical trade exhibition will be able to see Dimplex’s ground breaking Quantum off-peak heater, together with the new Q-Rad electric radiator and electric towel rail solutions. The event runs from 18th to 19th September at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.

The revolutionary Dimplex Quantum space heater has already taken the electric heating market by storm. Thanks to unique advances in insulation, technology and controllability, the heater maximises the amount of stored heat from off-peak energy tariffs, giving the potential to save up to £278 per year in heating costs. Crucially for installers, Quantum is easy to fit and hassle free, providing a future-proof solution for refurbishment projects, or in new build properties suited for electric heating.
The brand new Q-Rad electric radiator is also set to be showcased, combining radiant and convection heating elements with a self-learning adaptive control system to provide heat exactly when it is wanted, as economically as possible. The intuitive, self-learning delayed start function on Q-Rad even learns the thermal characteristics of a room and determines how when the appliance needs to start in order to reach target temperature based on factors such as room size, heat losses and the prevailing weather.
Dimplex will also be showing its range of flat, stepped and corner towel rails. Together with the Dimplex FSC controller which offers on/off, ‘eco’ mode and runback functions, the range can deliver low-cost towel drying 365 days a year with IPX5 rating for even the smallest of bathrooms or wet room spaces.
