Horstmann’s travelling road show has been a feature of the company’s promotional activity for a number of years, visiting merchant’s premises for an early morning cuppa and a bacon sandwich. It’s a great opportunity for installers to meet the local Horstmann sales support team and view and assess the wide range of Horstmann central heating and water heating controls.
Now, after a short summer recess, it is back on the road undertaking its autumn tour and could be coming to a location near you!
“We always get a good reception from installers when we turn up at merchants as it’s a great opportunity for our team to demonstrate the latest products, talk technical with the people who matter and of course provide hospitality with tea and coffee and the famous Horstmann bacon butty,” explains Tim Acton, Horstmann’s marketing manager.
Between now and the year end the team are touring extensively in the UK visiting the North East and North West, Yorkshire, the West Midlands, London, the South Coast and Isle of Wight, South West England and South Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
Full details of dates and the merchants being visited are available on the Horstmann web site – www.horstmann.co.uk – in the ‘Meet Horstmann’ section.
Horstmann are always looking for new venues and if any merchants would like to arrange a visit, simply call Vanessa Batt on 0117 978 8700.
The vehicle features fully working, interactive demonstrations of most Horstmann programmers and timers, enabling installers to sample the many features and assess which instrument is best suited to particular applications.
Visitors to this autumn’s PHEX exhibitions in Manchester and London and the Elex event at Sandown will also be able to meet the Horstmann team on their exhibition stands at each show.
