Horstmann Controls, the Bristol based designer and manufacturer of domestic central heating and hot water controls has announced the appointment of two new regional sales managers.
Both Duncan Dawes and Mark Simmonds bring a wealth of sales experience to their new roles and their appointment is part of an on-going investment by Horstmann Controls in its sales and marketing activities.
Southern Regional Sales Manager Duncan Dawes has worked for Horstmann for a number of years and was previously Area Sales Manager for the South West and South Wales. In his new role he will manage a team of 4 Area Sales Managers while developing new and existing business with architects, specifiers and those in the social housing sector.
A time served indentured electrician, Duncan also has responsibility for Horstmann sales in Southern Ireland. He is married with three children and is a keen rugby supporter.
Mark Simmonds is the new Northern Regional Sales Manager who also has responsibility for Scotland. He has 5 Area Sales Managers reporting to him and again, has management responsibility for his team while developing new business opportunities in key areas.
Married with two sons, Mark is a keen golfer and football supporter, one of his sons being a first year professional with Brighton & Hove Albion.
