Ten new switch-disconnectors in stainless steel enclosures have been added to the Masterlink range from Eaton Bill Switchgear.

They are ideal for isolation of three-phase loads in kitchens, dairies, hospitals, laboratories and other environments where hygiene is vital.

The enclosures offer protection against ingress of dust and water better than International Protection category IP65 making them suitable for applications involving fine dust or hosing down.

They are available in triple-pole and neutral (TP&N) or four-pole configurations in 16A, 25A, 40A, 63A and 80A ratings. They comply with BS EN 60947-3 and tests have shown excellent electrical performance for AC-21A, AC-22A and AC-23A applications.

External fixing lugs are standard, ensuring enclosure integrity, and there are three different cable entry points. Operating handles can be padlocked off during maintenance or to prevent unauthorised operation.

The new stainless steel Masterlink units join the existing range of 20-125A Masterlink switch-disconnectors and switch disconnector-fuse units in IP41 steel enclosures.
