Crabtree is delighted to announce its latest catalogue for 2013, showcasing an extensive range of circuit protection products for commercial and industrial applications
A key feature of this catalogue is the scope of the product range which extends from simple stand alone Switch Fuse products through to fully assembled Switchboards.
The catalogue brings together several recent product introductions including, Loadstar MCB Distribution Boards & Devices, Polestar Compact MCB Distribution Boards & Devices, Powerstar MCCB Panel Boards & Devices, S4 Switchboards, along side the Fusestar enclosed Switch Fuse & Isolators product range.
Loadstar TPN distribution Boards caters for a variety of commercial and light industrial applications. Complemented by an extensive choice of incoming devices including direct connection, switch disconnector or RCD, all triple pole incoming options allow for an integral metering option. Outgoing device options include a broad selection of 10kA MCBs and RCBOs. These board are available in two frame sizes 125A & 250A outgoing devices range from 6A to 63A, B C or D curve characteristics.
Polestar Compact TPN distribution Boards cater for heavy duty MCB applications. The range of boards is complemented by a broad selection of 16kA MCBs and RCBOs
This range of products is the preferred choice for many Rail & Transport applications where higher short circuit levels are common place and the 16kA device ratings play a significant part in providing & maintaining a safe working environment. The range includes Type A & B boards, IP3x IP41 & IP66 distribution boards for the most arduous of installations. There is extensive choice of incoming device options and facilities for local integral board metering and options.
Crabtree Powerstar Panel Boards are listed in two basic frame sizes, Powerstar 125 and Powerstar 250. For each frame size there is a dedicated range of MCCBs (25 to 65kA) plus incoming and outgoing metering, providing the basic elements required for most power installations. Panel Board ratings range from 250A to 800A and MCCB out-goers range from 15A to 250A
The major advantage of this Crabtree panelboard system over competitor products is the fact that J and G frame MCCB boards can be easily mixed and configured on site into more than 100 bespoke assemblies.
This is achieved by use of a range of add on enclosures that allows installers to quickly and easily add up to 12 TP outgoing ways to the main Powerstar 250 Panel Board and thereby create, on site, bespoke assemblies that are the equivalent of a factory built assembly.
In addition these versatile Panelboards include the facility to accept integral incomer metering and integral Surge Protection Devices, extension enclosures are not required for these facilities.
To complete the range for each size of panelboard there is a matching suite of cable ways and metering enclosures, metering kits complete with pre-wired connection looms are available for outgoing circuits, as are a range of lightning and surge arrestor kits, and accessories.
These metering options include MID, Pulsed Output and Modbus facility where appropriate.
For the larger circuit protection system Crabtree offer the Sivacon S4 Switchboard system, with ratings up to 3200A and forms of separation 1, 2b, 3b, 4a, 4b, (types 6&7) available.
All of the above systems are available via the Crabtree Factory Built Assembly service, which also offers a design & build service for fuse switch panelboards under System Powerstar brand.
For stand alone circuit protection there is the Fusestar range of enclosed fused switch products and a range of enclosed isolators, fuse switches from 20A to 800A are available, TPN, 4P and SPN products are included in the range.
