The Register of Electrical Contractors of Ireland, a Safety Supervisory Body appointed by the Commission for Energy Regulation, requires a Chief Inspector to lead its' team of Inspectors and to be the technical advisor for the organisation. The position is Dublin based.
Applicants should have relevant electrical qualifications and experience of domestic, commercial and industrial installation practice together with a sound knowledge of the ETCI Wiring Rules. A knowledge of medium voltage systems would be an advantage.
Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will manage inspection programmes and procedures, training courses and relevant technical matters. The Chief Inspector will liaise with consumers, RECs, CER, ESB, other trade and professional associations.
