The RT Ring Lug Terminals product line, certified in accordance with DIN EN 50155, rounds out the Clipline complete terminal block system from Phoenix Contact with a robust bolt terminal technology for cables fitted with ring lug terminals.
The advantages of terminal systems such as simple distribution of voltage potentials using bridge plugs, consistent center markings, and uniform testing accessories can also be exploited with the RT bolt terminals.
The RT product range includes feed-through and ground terminal blocks for cables fitted with ring lugs in sizes from 1.5 mm² to 35 mm². Special terminal blocks are also available for connecting current transformers in power supply applications. These terminals are equipped with user-friendly contact protection. Here, the cap nuts are integrated in hinged cover flaps to prevent them from falling out. They can be tightened with commercially available screwdrivers and are positioned exactly over the ring lugs when the flaps are folded down. The more affordable, identically sized RTO series is available for applications where contact protection is not required.
