It was full charge ahead this week as the lucky winner of Schneider Electric’s hugely-popular ‘Simply VanTastic’ promotion geared up to join the green scene with his brand new EV van.
Randomly selected from almost 3,000 participants, Terry Whitehouse of Whitehouse Electrical, Birmingham, was recently revealed as the crowning winner. In addition to a new state-of-the-art EV van, Terry will also receive Schneider Electric's sleek and easy to use, EVlink™ residential charging solution.
Making for the ultimate bag a bargain, Terry’s winning ticket was selected from the prize draw after having purchased a trade tube of plugs and screws at the cost of just £6.50.
With an onus on driving EV adoption, the VanTastic promotion saw all contractors who purchased a range of eligible Schneider Electric products entered into the chance to win a brand new electric Renault Kangoo ZE, as well as thousands of other runner-up prizes. Running from September through to December, upon purchase, each entrant received a scratch-card to enter the prize drawer to win the much-coveted top prize.
