Schneider Electric Ireland recently hosted a very successful series of two-day C-Bus installer training courses at its head office in Maynooth.
The course, designed for both electrical contractors and building automation specialists, covered all aspects of how to plan, select, install and programme a Clipsal CBus system. Participants worked on individual training panels and utilised C-Bus toolkit software programmed switches, light level and occupancy sensors to control lighting and associated circuitry.
Systems’ training was provided by Mr. Peter Rake of C-Bus Technologies, Peter who previously worked for Clipsal Australia has 8 years of C-Bus experience in both specifying the product to electrical consultants as well as providing installer training. Feedback from all participants was extremely positive, especially regarding the flexibility, installation and ease of programming of the system.
