The New XUX8 range of photo-electric sensors from Schneider Electric are ideal for detecting objects (e.g. a box on a conveyor line).
The new XUX8 range features Schneider's self teach technology which makes the installation of the new these new sensors extremely simple.
“Teaching” the XUX8 is easy and is performed in 2 steps by simply pressing on a button:
The 1st press for background suppression.
The 2nd press for detecting the object.
Suppression of the background (objects or persons) by simply pressing the “Teach” button, assures optimum operation of your machine. A product to see everything! No matter what material is to be detected (opaque, reflective or transparent) the XUX8 sensor adapts perfectly to these variations.
If that wasn’t enough, this clever sensor also comes with the following features:
Up to 2 metre detection distance
M12 connector or screw terminal (Ø 7 to 12 mm cable) connection
