Thorsman is a brand long synonymous with quality, ever since Oswald Thorsman first invented the original colour-coded wall plug in 1957. The Thorsman product range has seen continuous development, steadfastly adhering to the stringent standards laid down by its Swedish founder. From wall plugs to cable clips; power poles to trunking systems, fifty years has seen the Thorsman range grow from a handful of products to over 5,000 lines.
In recognition of the innovation and contribution of the Thorsman Company over the past fifty years, Posten, the Swedish postal service has chosen the Thorsman TP2 wall plug to appear in a new series of stamps. One of the primary objectives of Posten was to honour four Swedish inventions that had achieved worldwide recognition.
