Vent-Axia Brings Energy Efficient Ventilation To Manchester HEVAR

Published: 5 January 2010 Category: News

Vent-Axia, leaders in air management technology, will be revealing some of its latest energy efficient ventilation products at Manchester HEVAR (10-11 February 2010, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Old Trafford). Visitors to Stand 26 will be able to find out about the eTurboprop™ – a new generation of axial fans, as well as learning more about Vent-Axia’s innovative residential Sentinel Kinetic MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system.

Vent-Axia Brings Energy Efficient Ventilation To Manchester HEVAR

Purpose-built for modern kitchen filtration systems, Vent-Axia’s eTurboprop™ axial fans represent the next generation of high performance, speed controllable axial fans, offering guaranteed reliability thanks to a two-year standard warranty, which can be extended to five years through simple product registration. The eTurboprop™ is supplied in four diameter sizes, 450mm, 500mm, 560mm and 630mm to suit single or three phase applications, with all models including speed controllable 2 pole motors. Providing both an improved airflow performance extending from 0.65m3/s up to 5.93m3/s the eTurboprop™ also offers enhanced pressure development up to 600Pa. Meanwhile, because the unit operates at a higher efficiency, it also brings end-users long-term savings in running costs and carbon footprint.

Also at the forefront of innovation, the Sentinel Kinetic MVHR is a SAP Appendix Q listed ventilation solution and is capable of 90% heat recovery, so helping to reduce the DER of new build properties. A whole house, multi-room ducted solution, this residential MVHR system combines supply and extract ventilation in one unit. Warm, moist air is extracted from ‘wet’ rooms through ducting and passed through the heat exchanger before being exhausted to the outside. Fresh incoming air is preheated via the integral heat exchanger which recovers up to 90% of the heat energy that would otherwise be wasted. The Sentinel Kinetic is part of Vent-Axia’s Lo-Carbon™ range featuring energy saving LoWatt DC motors that further improve its efficiency and carbon reducing capabilities, with the Sentinel Kinetic boasting 0.72w/l/s SFP.

The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon™ initiative is committed to energy saving ventilation, therefore the DC products within the Lo-Carbon™ range highlight how much carbon is emitted over a year, therefore measuring the product’s individual carbon footprint. Not only can power consumption be reduced by up to 90%, the carbon footprint can be reduced from 47kg to 7kg per annum. The Lo-Carbon™ concept makes specifying low energy products easier by allowing specifiers to see clearly at a glance each product’s carbon footprint.

All products are available through Vent-Axia’s national network of distribution partners. For further information visit Stand 26, call Vent-Axia direct on 0844 856 0590 or visit the company’s website: www.vent-axia.com.
