Wylex is delighted to announce the introduction of a new range of MCCB Panel-boards and Devices to complement it existing range of MCB Distribution Boards and Consumer Units.
This extensive circuit protection product range offers the installer a one stop shop for industrial commercial and residential, circuit protection systems.
The new Wylex Panel-boards are available in two basic frame sizes, NHG125 and NHJ250. For each frame size there is a dedicated range of MCCB’s, plus incoming and outgoing metering which are the basic elements that are required to cater for the most straightforward power installations.
However, the advantage of the Wylex Panel-board system is the fact that J & G systems can be mixed and configured on site by the installer into personalised / bespoke assemblies. This allows the designer / installer to make the most electrically and economically appropriate choice of system for each installation.
Unlike other brands where Panel-boards are supplied to the market in pre -configured split-load type arrangements (e.g. 4J and 4G outgoers) that limits on site flexibility and can force installers to use the most expensive devices these Wylex Panel-boards can be quickly and easily assembled to match the on site requirements much more closely and make the most of any opportunities for economy without compromising electrical performance.
The NHG125 system includes Panel-boards from 6 to 16 TP outgoing ways, all are supplied complete with the skeleton incomer unit (250A or 400A) to which the installer simply adds a switch module or Electronic MCCB module. Outgoing MCCB’s range from 15A to 125A in either single or triple pole 25kA devices.
The NHJ250 System includes Panel-boards from 2 to 6 outgoing ways again these are supplied complete with the skeleton incomer unit (400A or 630A) to which the installer simply adds a switch module or Electronic MCCB module. The NHJ adjustable outgoing devices offer ratings from 40A through to 250A at 36kA
To each NHJ unit the installer can add NHJ or NHG extension units that incorporate 2 4 6 or 8 additional TP ways for NHJ or NHG outgoing devices.
It is this flexibility that allows the designer / installer to mix and match busbar systems and outgoing devices into a bespoke assembly with the right number of outgoing ways and the most appropriate mix of devices for each installation.
From a few standard off the shelf components Wylex installers can create many different Panel-board configurations. A great advantage when compared with the other brands that offer just half a dozen off the shelf products.
Similarly the choice of outgoing devices also offers the installer/designer an opportunity to make the most economically and electrically appropriate selection of protective devices. The NHJ devices incorporate a wide range of adjustable settings with several increments for close circuit protection & enhanced discrimination.
To complete the range for each size of Panel-board there is a matching suite of cable ways & metering enclosures, metering kits complete with pre wired connection looms, lightening and surge arrestor kits, and a range of accessories.
Wylex Panel-boards are designed and manufactured in the UK to BSEN 61439-2 2009, and are fully ROHS compliant. Standard assemblies are Form 3b type 2, supplied complete with skeleton incoming unit (excludes trip unit or switch unit) a range of add on enclosures is available for personalising bespoke assemblies, integral incomer metering options are included within the main assembly and outgoing metering can be incorporated into outgoing cableways,
Adding these new Panel-boards and devices alongside the existing range of MCB Distributions boards with their integral metering facility, 10kA MCBs and RCBOs, the Three Phase enclosed Fuse Switch combination units & Isolators, the NH range of consumer units and 6kA MCBs and RCBOs gives Wylex the facility to offer a one stop shop for domestic commercial and industrial circuit protection requirements.
